THE QUEEN'S SECRET GARDEN

A black jade bottle held the last vestiges of a secret garden. Copied by an indiscreet apprentice, its rediscovered recipe revealed its secrets. It is the precious memento of a queen in the Trianon rose garden, far from the pomp of the Court, before the turmoil of history swept through. Entrusted to a lady of noble lineage, a dear friend, it has survived the centuries to be reborn today. Galbanum, bergamot, and cardamom freshly announce a heart of jasmine and rose, enriched by incense and cinnamon. The amber base, resting on exotic woods—Indian sandalwood and patchouli—is adorned with vanilla and tonka bean.

Lubin

After the Revolution, Pierre François Lubin created his Perfume House on rue Sainte Anne in Paris: he supplied the "Merveilleuses" with perfumed ribbons, ball masks and rice powders, but above all his famous "Eau vivifiante", which would become "L'Eau de Lubin".
She soon gained the favor of the imperial court.
Lubin's fame began thanks to Empress Josephine and Pauline Bonaparte, Princess Borghese.
When the Bourbons returned to the throne, he dedicated his creations to Queen Marie-Amélie.
