DESIGN
The mouth-blown glass of the Nil candle pays homage in its colors to the blue of the Mediterranean Sea into which the river flows. Like a landscape seen from the sky, the swirls on the glass are arranged randomly by the artisan's breath. The floral fragrance of papyrus flower, sea salt, and moss is utterly fresh.

We travel down the Nile to reach its delta, where the salty sea spray of the Mediterranean is carried by the wind. Throughout this journey, at the slow pace of the feluccas, we notice lush vegetation along the banks, where the scents of green grass and moss mingle with those of aquatic plants and flowering papyrus.
