Perfect Oud

Freeze frame. Heated by the embers, pieces of oud smolder. A metamorphosis of an extraordinary wood which, in fine smoke, takes on its full dimension. An image for a vision, a creative choice since Alberto Morillas chose not to incorporate any natural essence of the famous wood: Perfect Oud is an impression, an "olfactory memory," when only emotion remains in the mind. The heat rises as the embers turn crimson, an intensely smoky and leathery scent is released. The fine wisps then perfume the body, fabrics, and skin. For this scene, Alaskan cedar plays the leading role. Rarely used in perfumery, it reveals nuances of leather and incense. Refreshed by coriander and bergamot, it then burns in contact with cade wood. Incandescent, radical, rounded off just enough by rose and iris. And the swirl becomes a trail...
