Founded in 2019 by Aurélien Guichard and two partners, Caïus and Cédric Meiffret, Matière Première seeks to perpetuate local and cultural expertise. Aurélien Guichard and his family established an organic (Ecocert*) Centifolia rose farm in the Grasse region. He is the only perfumer to own and produce his own Centifolia rose, giving him unparalleled authenticity in the niche perfume industry.

A genderless, powerful, and vibrant rose fragrance, containing the highest possible concentration of Centifolia Rose Absolute from France, extracted from flowers organically grown by the House in the Grasse region. This is how Aurélien Guichard conceived Radical Rose. Since the dosage of the central ingredient was already at its maximum, he created Radical Rose Extrait with an even higher concentration, and Croatian Immortelle Absolute as a guest ingredient.
