Amouage
In 1983, at the request of Sultan Qaboos bin Said, Sayyid Hamad bin Hamoud al-Busaidi, then Minister of the Royal Court's Diwan, founded the Amouage company with the aim of reviving the Arab tradition of luxury perfumes. Their first fragrance, launched in 1984 under the same name, was created by Guy Robert, a perfumer from Grasse, the French perfume capital.
Sunshine features bright and elegant top notes of almond, blackcurrant liqueur, and davana, opening into a heart of osmanthus, jasmine, vanilla, and magnolia. A sophisticated accord of juniper, papyrus, and blond tobacco completes this elegant composition. Luminous and sparkling, the fragrance is presented in the iconic Amouage bottle with its sunny, iridescent hues. The refreshing white cap is adorned with a Swarovski crystal, like the sun at its zenith. The bottle is nestled in an azure blue case with a mosaic effect, embellished with swirling gold leaves around the Amouage emblem. Top Notes: Blackcurrant Liqueur, Almond, and Davana; Heart Notes: Osmanthus, Jasmine, Vanilla, and Magnolia; Base Notes: Juniper Wood, Patchouli, Blond Tobacco, and Papyrus
