Suddenly, two figures pass by. The very sensation of their passing captures his attention. The air is delicately filled with a scent, sensual and subtle like a veil, yet dense and enveloping.
Its entire mystery stemmed from an oud whose source the perfumer knew well. At the heart of the composition was the essence from the far reaches of Asia, on the border of India and Bangladesh.
Known as Oud Assafi, it is the purest essence of all, extraordinarily rich, perfectly balanced, leathery and smoky without being animalic, and delicately balsamic. To preserve its beauty, a few key ingredients enhance its various facets: frankincense and Bulgarian rose to balance its delicacy, papyrus to underscore its mystery, and amyris wood and cetalox for sensuality and roundness. A captivating skin elixir, equally feminine and masculine.
