Anne Flipo's first creation for Frédéric Malle, SYNTHETIC NATURE revisits iconic 1970s scents with dazzling modernity, where synthetic ingredients recreate the poetry of nature. Jasmine and ylang-ylang blend their sun-kissed aromas with the crisp greenness of hyacinth, underscored by basil. A note of blackcurrant and styrallyl acetate adds a fluorescent shimmer to this bouquet, resting on a dark base of patchouli, a legendary ingredient in perfumers' palettes and the emblem of 1970s green chypres.
