Shortly after the Revolution, the Royal Wax Factory, owned by the Trudon family, lost its status as a supplier to the King and feared for its future. Thanks to administrative authorization, it was ultimately allowed to continue its operations and even to supply the royal family until its final days.

This unique, confidential wax is made primarily from soy and coconut. The wicks of the candles and tapers are made of cotton. All these natural components are safe for users. The candles do not contain any of the substances on the OSPAR list cited by Greenpeace. No heavy metals or pesticides are used in their composition.
