She's getting ready. It's a beautiful day. The sky is blue. She places her bare feet on the parquet floor and, like a dancer, begins to glide down the mirrored walkway that leads to the dressing table. It's one of her favorite places. She loves to get ready there. A bouquet of flowers from the garden sits nearby, and her hands seem to flutter around it. Her right hand, nimble and skillful, flits to a powder compact and then grabs a bottle. Her left hand takes an eyeshadow and then a nude lipstick. She then goes to her dressing room, chooses a light dress, and adjusts a slipped strap. She slips on a pair of heels and cinches her waist with a belt. As she does every morning, she then heads out onto her flower-filled terrace, located on the fourth floor of the building overlooking the gardens of the Palais Royal. She is happy and smiles as she thinks about her day.
