Originally, in the 19th century, newlyweds enjoyed keeping their wedding crown under a glass globe delicately placed on a wooden base. The bell jar adorned the dresser in the marital bedroom, an image of a home to come. Over the years, other symbolic objects were added to the delicate crown, such as small diamond-shaped mirrors symbolizing the number of children the couple desired. Today, during the 20th century, the object gradually lost its symbolic function to take on a purely aesthetic dimension and become integrated into interior decoration. Since the opening of its Parisian boutique, Cire Trudon has used period bell jars to showcase its candles. These exceptional globes have become true emblems of the House's ritual. The former Royal Cire Trudon manufactory now produces them to offer all its devotees the opportunity to magnify their candles in their interiors. Mouth-blown, the glass dome is adorned with the Cire Trudon logo and placed on a worked wooden base. A luxurious object that protects the candle and enhances its fragrance when extinguished.

Maison Trudon's centuries-old experience makes it a wax manufacturer with unparalleled expertise. Knowledgeable and exacting, Maison Trudon draws all its talent from the techniques of master wax makers while constantly innovating to perfect its waxes.
Trudon House holds a manufacturing secret: a candle paste made with plant materials, forming a unique mixture, miscible with the perfume, and allowing for a perfect and long-lasting combustion.
This unique, confidential wax is made primarily from soy and coconut. The wicks of the candles and tapers are made of cotton. All these natural components are safe for users. The candles do not contain any of the substances on the OSPAR list cited by Greenpeace. No heavy metals or pesticides are used in their composition.
