Velona means "living being" in Malagasy. The Velona scented candle is covered in crocheted and embroidered raffia by the women of a cooperative in Madagascar. A pattern of ochre and saffron yellow stripes, enhanced with black, gives the candle a very decorative look that will easily fit into any holiday home. A ruffle of black-embroidered raffia is placed diagonally on the object, reinforcing this decorative perception inspired by fashion. The fragrance of the Velona scented candle is a warm, sunny and aquatic scent, with notes of orchid, ylang-ylang and sea salt.
