But here, Alberto Morillas delves into the very heart of the wood, as if zooming in on the material, exploring its richness, its power, its magic.
Alaskan cedar, with its mineral and densely leathery inflections, remains the main protagonist, while revealing a new vibrancy with cardamom and an almost liqueur-like depth with rum. The contrast between these two extremes is heightened, and the floral and amber note that rounds out the composition expresses itself with greater intensity. The memory of this wood then returns with more force and mystery.
