Philosykos

A memory of a Greek summer on Mount Pelion. To reach the sea, one had to cross a natural orchard of wild fig trees. The midday sun warmed the earth, the dry wind carried with it the scent of the trees and fruit. Philosykos is an ode to the fig tree in its entirety: the green freshness of the leaves, the density of the white wood, the milky flavor of the figs.

Did you know? "Philosykos" means "friend of the fig tree" in Greek. A tree whose leaves and a few branches, gathered in a keepsake box, were the source of inspiration.
