The Cire scented candle is an olfactory illustration of the Trudon manufactory: evoking a blend of perfume and warm wax fragrances, its significance is symbolic. At the crossroads of time-honored craftsmanship, strong commitment, and a contemporary vision, the Cire scented candle reveals a distinctive fragrance behind its slightly speckled amber glass: that of beeswax absolute. Bees and beeswax are, by definition, at the heart of the Trudon manufactory's history: as early as the 17th century, its motto was “Deo regique laborant,” meaning “they (the bees) work for God and the King.” In 2019, the Maison chose to support the Orne Black Bee Conservatory, in partnership with the Perche Regional Natural Park. 4% of the sales of each Cire candle will be donated to the Orne Black Bee Conservatory.

This unique, confidential wax is made primarily from soy and coconut. The wicks of the candles and tapers are made of cotton. All these natural components are safe for users. The candles do not contain any of the substances on the OSPAR list cited by Greenpeace. No heavy metals or pesticides are used in their composition.
