One hears the muffled rustle of fabric rippling like a cape, the subtle sound of leather developing a patina. The slow, stately figure moves through the silent garden. Perhaps it is Abramad. A heavy door opens, letting in a sliver of light. A proud shadow stretches across the stone in the golden light. It vanishes. One must look up at the seven palace windows, open like great black eyes.
